Insect sprays usually mean staying out of the treated rooms for a few hours while everything dries, and flea treatments typically need the whole house vacated for a short period. Rodent work rarely needs you to go anywhere. We will tell you exactly what is needed when we book, so you can arrange it in advance rather than on the doorstep.
A bit, and it makes a real difference. For fleas, vacuum thoroughly and wash bedding on a hot wash first. For cockroaches, clear cupboards and worktops so we can treat where they actually travel. For rodents, move stored items away from walls in lofts and cupboards. We will give you a specific list when you book rather than a generic one.
Not from us. We turn up in unmarked, unsigned vehicles as standard, and we can wear plain workwear if you ask. Pest problems are nothing to be embarrassed about, and they happen in every kind of house, but we understand that you might not want it broadcast down the street.
Usually the landlord, particularly where the problem comes from the building itself, such as gaps in brickwork or a damaged drain. Tenants are more likely to be responsible where the problem has been caused by how the property is being used. Either way, we are happy to deal directly with a landlord or managing agent, and to send them the details.
Yes. Everyone who comes to your door is DBS checked, qualified to BPCA and RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management, and a member of the BASIS PROMPT CPD scheme. We are fully insured for both public and employers' liability, and we can provide certificates on request.
Yes, and we would rather you asked. Send a photo over WhatsApp and we will tell you what you are looking at and whether it actually needs treating. Some things people call us about turn out to be harmless. We will say so rather than sell you a treatment you do not need.
